Wilson Tobs Books & Baseball Bash
Since 2014, the Wilson Tobs have been proud to offer a privately funded community reading program with Wilson area schools.
Read Around The Bases (elementary schools) & Swing For The Fences (middle schools) are interactive reading initiatives that encourage students of all backgrounds to ‘read one more book.’
Rewarding young people with complimentary Tobs tickets, school supplies, awards and recognition on the field at Fleming Stadium during a game, the Tobs reading program extends to 20+ schools and thousands of Wilson-area children.
Inspiring Wilson’s future leaders for a decade, the Tobs reading program is our organization’s commitment to bringing smiles to our youth and hope to us all. When the Tobs & their mascot, Slugger, walk into a school auditorium and the students let out a roar of excitement, everyone knows that the reading program is back!
