Wilson, N.C. – The Wilson Tobs and Historic Fleming Stadium hosted another full day of high school varsity baseball. The competition level was high and the matchups were spot on. The Wilson Tobs High School Varsity Baseball Classic featured (10) teams playing a total of (5) games on Saturday, April 1st.

As promised there was no monetary team entry fee, but instead the entry fee was non-perishable food donations for the Wilson Tobs Home Run for Hunger Program. Donations provided by players, coaches, and fans were collected and will be  distributed to 13+ Wilson County food pantries to help feed those in the area who are less fortunate. Bringing competitive high school baseball back to Wilson for a wonderful cause made this event a homerun. The Wilson Tobs are grateful to all the teams and fans who donated nonperishable food items for this event.
