Wilson, NC – The Wilson Tobs are proud to announce the schedule for our annual Division 2 College Baseball Classic beginning on Thursday, March 4th and ending on Sunday, March 7th, 2021.
“To be honest we are extremely grateful to even have the event this year considering how much COVID has affected collegiate sports and each team’s ability to travel. We are glad to provide these northern teams with a warmer place to play and the fans who attend with a sense of back to normal. It is our focus during these tough times to consistently bring year-round baseball events to the Wilson area so we can provide everyone with entertainment and steady business to the local Wilson community,” said Tobs General Manager Mike Bell.
The College Classic will feature (8) Division II schools. Due to travel restrictions, Barton College will be the only team from the 2020 Classic to return. This means that (7) new schools will be making their first trip to Wilson, NC; Grand Valley State University, Ashland University, Northwood University, Cedarville University, Tiffin University, Kentucky Wesleyan College, and Mid-Atlantic Christian University. We want to thank our exclusive corporate sponsors who make it possible for us to host these teams at Historic Fleming Stadium, Farris & Thomas Law, The Wilson Visitors Center, Greenlight, EmergeOrtho and Wilson Medical Center.
