Savannah, GA- The Wilson Tobs fell in Game 2 of the 2022 Petitt Cup Finals on Friday night to the Savannah Bananas 11-0. The 2022 season concluded on the road down in Georgia, and the Tobs ran out of magic.

The offense struggled against the Bananas’ starter, and Tobs would only finish the night with four hits. The Bananas would score in each of the first four innings, and after four complete frames, the champions of the west led the Tobs 6-0.

Wilson would load the bases in the fifth inning, but with two outs, they were unable to push any runs across. Savannah would scatter five more runs across the game’s final innings and blank the Tobs 11-0 to capture back-to-back Petitt Cup championships.
