WILSON, N.C. – Thursday night’s game between the Tri-City Chili Peppers (1-3) and the Wilson Tobs (3-2, 0-2 CPL) at Historic Fleming Stadium has been postponed due to rain.

The game has been rescheduled as part of a double-header between the Chili Peppers and the Tobs on June 16 at 5 p.m. ET. Game two will follow the conclusion of game one and both games have been shortened to seven innings.

Tickets from Thursday night’s game and for the originally scheduled 1 p.m. ET game on June 16 will be good for the double header. Wilson Chamber and Whirligig Night has also been moved to the evening of the double header on June 16.

Due to lack of participants and the need to reschedule Thursday’s game, the 2021 Super Splash Day has been cancelled. Please join the Tobs next season for the 2022 Super Splash Day at Historic Fleming Stadium.

The next home game for the Tobs will take place on Saturday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET against the Tri-City Chili Peppers. Gates open at 6, so come to the ballpark early to enjoy craft beer samples and unlimited barbecue in the Beer and BBQ Festival.
