Macon, GA — The East All-Stars topped the West 6-0 at the annual Coastal Plain League All-Star Game at Historic Luther Williams Field in Macon on Monday night.

The East All-Stars were dominant, allowing only three hits and keeping the West off the scoreboard all game.

The scoring started with a solo home run from Kyle Edwards in the 4th, the shortstop form Peninsula representing the East.

The next runs came off the bat of Wilson’s very own Chase Waddell. The Tobs’ catcher launched a two-run homer to give the East a 3-0 lead. Waddell was named the Tucci Hitter of the Game / MVP of the 2025 All-Star game.

“It means a lot, all the hard work I’ve put in to get to this point,” Waddell said. “Then when you get to this point, just performing.”

The East added a run in each the 7th, 8th and 9th innings and the East’s pitching staff combined to shutout the West in this year’s All-Star contest.

Casey O’Dell pitched the 5th for the East and spun a scoreless frame. Charlie Bussey III came into the game and played right for the final four innings of the game. Carter Murphy was the last off the East’s bench and he stole a base and scored a run after pinch hitting.

The Tobs’ All-Stars are back with the team and in action Thursday night against Greenville at Historic Fleming Stadium. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m. on Salute to Service night.
