Overview

The Wilson Tobs are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates for the Fall, Spring, and Summer seasons who are ready to PUMP IT UP! The Wilson Tobs are an original member of the Coastal Plain League, a collegiate summer league, owned by Capitol Broadcasting (Durham Bulls), certified by Major League Baseball and the NCAA. The Tobs play at Historic Fleming Stadium, a Wilson landmark, that functions as a year-round event venue with events at the high school and collegiate level during all seasons.

The Tobs are looking for current undergraduate and graduate students in sport management, media, marketing or related fields, that are serious about a career in professional or amateur sports.  If you are a viable candidate, you will get the opportunity to gain practical experience in multiple areas of team operations, including sales, marketing, promotions, event management, ticketing, merchandizing, public relations, and more.  You will be working directly with general manager, Mike Bell, who finished his 10th year with the program. In addition to working with an already experienced front office staff, you will have the chance to work indirectly with President Greg Suire, a veteran of 16 seasons of Minor & Collegiate League Baseball management. What does this mean to a potential candidate?  It means that Tobs management understands what skills and experience are needed to succeed in this business.  You will be challenged with a variety of responsibilities designed not only to ensure the success of the Tobs, but also to impress hiring officials with organizations in the future. The Tobs organization is committed to making our staff an integral and equal part of our operation.
